The release of Elleven’s CD insight took three years of intensive work. The CD being a concept album was a challenge and an integral part of the formation process of the band. The CD was recorded in Roger’s Farmhouse Studio, Kirchherten and in Elleven’s rehearsal studio located at Lohhof, Grevenbroich where keyboard player Armin Riemer lives.

A very interesting live event with 40 band and 20 venues in and around town - that was Straelen 2008. We played the venue Borghs which is a bit out of town together with cover band Halle B. Since the weather was sunny, we decided to play in the yard and turned the gig into an open air event. Borghs is an excellent venue. Stephan Scholz supported us on bass again.

Many incense sticks helped to make this an extremely creative weekend. Roger Weitz supported us on bass again. Carsten used his new baritone guitar and a newly designed pick-up ;)

Our first open-air festival at Wasserburg Geretzhoven! Despite technical problems (Carsten's MIDI foot controller wouldn't work - that's Rock 'n Roll, or as Carsten quoted JPJ of Led Zeppelin: »Play loud, confident and wrong«, which he did except for playing wrong ;), we had lots of fun - due to the efficient organization and Fahrstuhlkavaliere - thanks to everyone!
